Here is the daylily that a friend gave to me. According to him, it stays varieagated. Time shall tell.

I posted pics in another thread of 'Kwanso Variegated'. I bet that is what this is.

As for staying variegated, it will put out green fans, which have to be removed or they will take over. I divide mine every other year.
Many a great tune has been played on an older fiddle.

There are variegated daylilies other than Kwanso.
My friend has a beautiful variegated one that is showing no signs of reversion.
Have yet to be successful talking her out of a piece of it!!

His dear sweet loving wife has two of them, now out in O.C.'s shade bed. They do NOT do too well in heavy sun. Do great indoors in a sunny window, take a lot of water..
