My neighbor saw that I like dayliles and gave me 30 fans of this daylily she said she has had it for 30 years. She is a sweet older lady and wanted to share.

This one I brought about 18 years ago lost the tag. It blooms Aug-Sept. It was my first daylily.

This is what it looks like in the sun.

This is what it looks like growing in the shade.

That top one is a gorgeous glowing yellow. How lucky you are to have such a generous neighbor

Both are beautiful, Aud! That gold is really striking. I just transplanted one that is similar to the second one. It has been struggling in the bed by the red maple. I don't think it's going to bloom for me this year.

Thank-You Pat for posting and bringing this back up, because I missed it....I hate when I do that....Sorry Aud!

Both are pretty.....If you have had that second one for that many years, it must be a goodie.....It sure is pretty....A bi-tone, right? I bought one for sure, maybe two this spring.....Can't wait to see them....

Thanks for sharing!! :D
