Oh Goodness, that's pretty! But I have a question for you. My Minnie Pearl is really peach colored, is that light cream the correct color I am seeing on yours? Do later ones getter darker?

I love the color, size, bud count on Minnie Pearl!
Jane, I've had Minnie for a number of years and it's always been peach colored.

Yes Lucy, it's a little one. Mine isn't blooming yet. (Thanks OED! :D ) I'm thinking it doesn't like being crowded by the garden phlox and the monarda. :o

Per Tinker's Database:

Mini Pearl - Height 16", Bloom Diameter 3"

I think that's the spelling that was on mine too LG :) Minnie Pearl. I'll have to check, but pretty certain. Mine is much more peach colored too. One of my favs :)

Now that you all mention it... I think it was more peach colored last year. It seems all the bloms are a much lighter shade this season.

I will get a few more photos when I get back this afternoon.... I am off to get a puppy!

BTW - the nursery tag on mine definitely says "Minnie Pearl".... I wonder if my nursery man made a mistake when doing the tags?
