This isn't one of my favs, but it goes back to mom's yard sometime in the 40s, I think.

That's H.Kwanso. I grow it, and H.Fulva ( the Ditch lily) too. I thought once I would get all of them out but our Regional Vice President grows them in his Garden, and JayDee can tell you it's quite the showplace. If it's good enough for Russ, it's good enough for me. Space isn't an issue, If I could only grow a certain number they might get evicted. Funny that the deer leave them completely alone here.

Yes, that does look like Kwanso...and it's one of my faves. Don't really care if it's one of the "ditch" varieties. Here's another one of my favourites of the "Ditches." Don't know if this one has an actual name or not.
