This is driving me crazy

Post by goldenmom »

Arrrgh! I bought this last year and I can't, for the life of me, remember what it is. Forgot to enter it into my database, didn't put the tag in the ground, and now I'm hopelessly searching vendor's websites trying to find the name :???: Realistically, I'll probably never know what it is, but this first bloom opened well today, so I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest do.

:o WOW! I think I have a new obsession starting up. My side yard is WAY past rebuilding and most are just ditch lillies over there.

I thought it was one of the Candy's, too. But, I've never bought one, so that rules out that series. Gosh, a mind is a terrible thing to lose.

I think I bought it from Roycroft, but I've gone through their website, and I don't see anything like it. I suppose they could not be offering it this year, though. I didn't order that many last year, so I *should* be able to figure this out!

Very nice, I can see why you bought it!

Would the vendor have a record of your purchases? Might be worth a phone call.

Hope you find out what it is.

Mystery solved, thanks to Jane's excellent idea. :D I called the vendor, and it's Persistent Lady. Except...look at the second bloom! No wonder I couldn't find it on the vendor's website...the first bloom looks nothing like the first. I know first blooms can look different, but I think this one is having an identity crisis.

Those first couple of blooms can really be off from the true blooms ... sort of like having an identity crisis ... then getting cured!
