Nice clumps, Helen. I can clump, too :D Bad pic, but you get the idea. Daylily is Zagora.

Oh Zagora is "really clumpy" wowzer!

I've been dividing clumps so don't really have any large clumps ... I really would like to see some large clumps ...

Helen,

I wish you had asked to see large clumps last week. I have several that are really big, but they are finished blooming or almost finished. I am posting a pic of a late bloomer that has made a fairly large clump. This one has been in this garden and not divided for 4 years, but it was a pretty good sized clump when I divided it to plant here.

I do not know what it is. My mom got it 25 or 30 years ago from my great aunt and she had had it for years and years when Mom got a start. I have several others that came from her and are really old.

Remind me early next year and I will post pics of large clumps in bloom.

Tracy,
Thanks for joining in the "clumping" with the rest of us!
That is a gorgeous oldie! Could you get a closeup of just one of the flowers? It also appears there is some fluting with some of the flowers ...
Thanks
Helen

Two years ago I bought a huge clump of Cherry Cheeks, split it and planted both halves, now I've got two clumps!

In my yard this is an eye catcher. Every day there are several open blooms and there are enough buds to last for the whole month!

Helen,

I will try to get a close up tomorrow, if I have time.

We spent the day at the hospital with my MIL, she had a breast removed today. She will be dismissed tomorrow, in the morning we think, so my day will be pretty tied up with her. She will be staying with us a few days till she is able to go home by herself.

I hope for my sanity, I can spend a few minutes tomorrow in the garden. It will probably be too hot again tomorrow to do any more than browse a little.
