Nanny_56,

Thanks for checking out the show. You may click on the photos below to see larger pics of the Daylilies you liked.

'Celebration of Angels' was purchased from Brown's Ferry Gardens and again from nrb44 on eBay (great price).
'Destined to See' and 'New Clown Face' were purchased locally for under $10 each.

OC,

Thank you for checking out the shows!

We have about 125 different Daylilies and we have been gardening since the Fall of 2003 (we are still newbies). That was when I saw a gold Hosta at my Mother's and we purchased Striptease (His - for me) and Blue Angel (Hers -for Diana) at a nearby nursery. Since that time we have added many Hostas. We needed some color and that is where the Daylilies came in. Before that time, the yard was for grass only.

This first photo is of "The Circle" on 8/4/03. A tree stump had been removed from here and I begrudgingly allowed Diana to have flowers in the yard.

This is the same area on 6/9/08. It has been expanded. The Daylilies in the first photo are just to the right of the bird feeders. I am the one who has been removing the grass (I would never have believed that before 2003).

Click here for photos of the progression of "The Circle" from 2003-2008.

Nanny_56,

When it comes to doing the garden work, sometimes I feel like the boys that paid to whitewash the picket fence.

Enjoy your new Daylilies this Spring!

Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. I have tried to stay away from these new daylillys for fear of addiction  Time will tell.
