GOT SCAPES?

Post by nanny_56 »

Woo Hoo!!!

I was out spraying the Messenger today and noticed that I have scapes on 3 plants, Siloam Double Classic, Beautiful Edgings and a NOID from a neighbor.

The lilies are coverd with buds too!

Should have something to look at soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The species Hemerocallis dumortieri bloomed weeks ago, and until recently there were no signs of other scapes at all. Right now, there is only ONE, that is on SACRED DRUMMER. I think they will all be popping up very soon.

Yup, I've noticed scapes on at least half of my daylilies! Can't wait for them to open. Of course, I've got blooms on the orange ditch lilies and Happy Returns, :D but none of the "special" ones are blooming yet!

   Yes, it has scapes, so I'll be careful! The chunk you sent me was so big (I think you sent the WHOLE PLANT), I was able to plant a big chunk in the garden and then pot up two more pieces, just in case there's someone who I need to send a special "gift" to!

Yep! You got the WHOLE THING! If anything comes up looking like it in my garden I'll know for sure that FOOLED ME is radioactive or something and has contaminated my soil!
