The First Flower Open, and some subsequent ones were nothing short of atrocious, as you can see here. But then along came a perfect flower... Hope the nice one will be typical!

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. This plant kept trying and finally got it right! That last pic is a stunner . . . the first two, not so much.
