Ed, did it show the brown-maroon markings on the backs of the buds and flowers? Mine used to, and didn't this year for the first time.

Love this one anyway, don't even care how it blooms (sometimes) down in the foliage, has no branching and a very low bud count!

Did not have brown markings John
But the back was of a darker coloration than the blooms
I like it myself, if I did dips I would of hit it with some pollen

I will surely post pictures when they bloom. I can't wait! :D I'm hoping there will be more scapes showing up.

I have one from toomanyanimals with a scape too and finally, a scape on my own OP Smoky Mountain Autumn wintersown in February 2006.

   I just went to check for more scapes and it appears that S214 x 112 (Techny Peace x Caledonia) x Sunset Lagoon also had a scape but the rabbit beheaded it. I better get out the liquid fence before the dark side takes over.

That's to bad
The rabbits are getting a little frisky around here to, I see that they have chewed some of the foliage and just left it lay
