Mort Morss

Post by Ed_B »

I divided Mort Morss in the spring of 2008 and it sulked for 2 years, finally it has scape's coming up this season.
I am going to hit it with frozen pollen from Ruffled Strawberry Parfait, Forestlake Ragamuffin, Gaudy Gaudy, and two of my toothed seedlings, plus I am thinking about Ode To Faith and Spacecoast Starburst.

Hey there, Ed... Guess I am the reason Mort sulked--- thanks for sharing him... the good news is that the piece you sent me has put up some very nice scapes, and I am planning some toothy crosses!

Not your fault John
I think that you should be able to divide a daylily with no problems.
I hope that this isn't a trait that will be passed on to the seedlings

That is one of the key traits my friend Terri Jones looks for in her seedlings before registration! Recovery from divisibility.
