I had an informal poll as to what to pollinate my pretty purple bi-color NOID? Well, after 2 seasons of no blooms, it put up a bloom scape last year and it was promptly eaten by the deer. So THIS year I kept a close eye on it and kept it doused in deer off and VOILA! We have baby pictures! Yep - this is the Hallsons Forum baby that you all helped me pick the parents

(actual color is better on the first pic - both blooms opened today!)

Pretty baby Alexa!
I read the old thread. I missed the vote. It was during the summer that I stayed with my mom after her stroke. I wasn't able to check the forum regularly. I think all of you made a good choice.
