You should call it 'Day-old Nachos'.

What is it supposed to be? Any idea of the name you thought you bought?

No clue so far - I had to "emergency move" a bunch of stuff last fall when the front yard was dug up for the new sewer line, and I plunked stuff where ever it would fit. I was SURE" I would remember the easily identifiable ones.....

looks like it mutated from what was probably a really pretty daylily. Do all the flowers on this plant look like that?

This is the first flower open on it. I hope the next ones look better (or at least identifiable) LOL!

Alexa, Ya must of loved it before to plant it and save it in the move. Just don't judge the plant by the first
bloom is what we all know. Let her keep blooming. She is kind of cute in her ugliness??

I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I think it might be an FFO on a seedling that I've never seen bloom. This entire bed was wiped out by deer last year and I had stuck several seedlings in there to grow them out along with the the ones I moved in a hurry. If it that is what it is, it is a very fast grower with great branching and all i can hope is that the blooms improve :???:

It is also unfortunate that it will open several more over the next few days in 100F + heat - certainly not the best conditions to evaluate the look of them :(

Thanks for the comments!
