Ed_B no more

Post by edburton »

I used to be Ed_B but for some reason one day I couldn't log on
forgetting what my password was, and after the 3rd attempt of trying different ones "didn't get it right" I was forced to try and reset password by e-mail, after about a dozen failures to get that to work, and not finding a way to email Chris directly I decided that ED_B would be no more
my new handle is edburton which is also my real name.
I grow daylilies, lots of daylilies
I breed daylilies for both hobby and sale
Nice to be on here again at last.
Ed Burton, NE Wisconsin, where the winter is brutal and the daylilies are well under cover

I finally registered my first seedling which I was hoping to share with all my Hallson friends when my troubles began.

Meet Appleton Sweet Start, which I hope is the beginning of many.
Reason this one became my first is because of a Michigan English Professor named Greg Youngchild, we did a seedling swap when he happened to mention that my seedling was going into a display bed for some kind of national tour. He kinded of hinted very loudly that S-452 wouldn't look all that good on an ID tag, and maybe Appleton "where I live" should be somewhere in the name so folks would know where I was from, like anyone knows where Appleton Wisconsin is anyway.
anyway

Hi Ed,

Great to see you made it back here! Congrats on your seedling, she's lovely. Love that kind of coloration and with the green throat even better.

Hi, Ed
I know where Appleton is. :D This is one sweet daylily, and I'm glad you got it registered.
Also glad that you persevered and got back here. I know how that goes. I just spent half a day trying to get my husband
signed in to Facebook. His computer died, and I put him on another account on my computer. He'd done something while
his computer was in its death throes that messed up the password, and then he tried getting a security code sent to his
phone. That didn't work either. I finally managed to get him signed back in. Now he has to get a different computer.
Been looking at ordering one online to get Windows 7. I doubt he would be able to manage 8. Not sure I could.
We did have an offer from our techie grandson to install Win7 in any new computer we get, so may go that route.

Hej Ed

Had to look up the new guy

Glad to see it was you :D

Think you know I love the simple daylilies, but this one is so elegant ... I love it :D
