Rachael Ray’s Pineapple BBQ Sauce

This is way good! The entire recepie is called Hula Chichen with Pineapple BBQ Sauce. I'm only posting the sauce portion, the chicken part was difficult.
Rachael Ray’s Pineapple BBQ Sauce
1 small to medium Red onion, chopped
1 can Pineapple chunks, chopped
3 Tbs Brown sugar
3 Tbs Apple cider vinegar
¼ cup Tamari (dark soy sauce)
1 cup Tomado sauce (plain)
• I pre mix the brown sugar, tamari, vinegar, and tomato sauce.
• Over medium high heat in a medium skillet use 1 tablespoon EVOO.
• Add onion and cook until tender. About 4-5 minutes
• Add pineapple, heat up a little.
• Add the sauce mix.
• Simmer until thickened and season with salt and pepper.
• Serve with a chicken Cordon Blu (chicken, ham, cheese)
