Pineapple Cream Pie

Post by dmi188 »

1 can crushed pineapple, DO NOT drain (about 15 oz)
1 large box instant vanilla pudding, dry
1 pint sour cream
1 shortbread crust (graham will also work)
Cool Whip

Mix together pineapple, dry pudding and sour cream.
Pour into crust.
Top with Cool Whip, refridgerate for at least 1 hr, and serve.

I wasn't there to enjoy this, but it sounds like everyone loved it. And it's my kind of recipe . . . super-simple!!!

This was so fabulous! Especially when we all came back in and got the extra pie out of the fridge. It was so refreshing! Thanks, Denise, for the recipe. I loved it! :D

This really was very good, however part of it sat out for quite a while and turned bad quickly. Now that I see it has sour cream in it, I'm pretty sure that's why. So keep this one refrigerated to keep it best. Luckily Denise brought a second one of these pies that was kept in the fridge. We attacked that after dinner and it was gone before it had a chance to even warm up a tiny bit

Thanks for sharing this with us Denise. I love how simple the best recipes seem to be :D
