Two more Japanese Maples

Post by whis4ey »

Bought two more today at the Garden Centre
Ariadne and Aoyagi
I have always wanted an Aoyagi to plant beside my SangoKaku .... the pale green stems contrast well with the pink stems of Senkaki
Ariadne is a new one to me ... you can look at a picture below
These two are smaller trees than I usually buy, so I will have to wait to see them in their best light

More trees! Wonderful, but I can't get the link to work......... :(
Gardening is the slowest of the performing arts.

I am having the same trouble IMP
It is a link to the Dutch site where I got the pic. I am trying to solve the problem, but it appears that the Dutch site itself is having problems
I will do what I can :)
It looks to be a little beauty, so I hope you come back to have a look later :)

That leaf is a beauty indeed. I am looking forward to it opening out for me
This year I plan to take photographs of my acers four times during the growing season ... Spring, early summer, late summer, and mid autumn. I might add an extra if there are remarkable colour changes :)
If they turn out well I will post :)
