It was an extravagant purchase, but you know how it goes when you are smitten. This is Acer palmatum 'Toyama nishiki'. It thread leaf leaves are green, white, pink and red. It is so outstanding and pictures don't even do it justice.......but, here is a close up showing the leaves.
