Four new Japanese Maples

Post by whis4ey »

I made the mistake of viewing the new plants at the local Garden Centre
Well .... I NEEDED a Katsura to replace one that died on me last year
I WANTED a Red Pygmy
I SAW a new one ... Kasagi Yama :)
I SAW another new one Chitose Yama :) :)
Ah well .... Wonderwoman will know better than to send me for a bag of compost again :)
Incidentally ... I also bought 6 more bags of Farmyard manure, a box of Rose fertiliser, a bag of small red granite stones, a bag of pea gravel and a new pocket hand pruning saw :)
Believe it or not ... I came home WITHOUT the compost :(
