It was A cold winters day when a visitor sat in our garden room looking out at my efforts at Japanese gardening was heard to say
It is very relaxing just sitting here looking out A TV radio or even a book or newspaper is not needed here.
I was pleased to hear this remark as it made me feel that my efforts are worthwile

I agree with your visitor. You should be proud of your JG. I hope to hear that someday about my JG. I too would like to know what kind of palm you have there.

Hi to all

The palm was bought as a Chusan Palm
{trachicarpus fotunei} It has been out there about five years
now.and has withstood temperatures of well below minus ten centigrade. It seems strange when the snow covers its fronds

George, been too busy for my garden for the last few months. Just starting the clean-up.
Gotta get my priorities straight ! :lol:
