Japanese larch

Post by irkwater »

Hi.
Last September I came across a six foot larch sapling in a local nursery What made it seem special to me was, it had two trunks
After cutting it short I jammed a piece of rolled up foam between the trunks to make them further apart and pruned it to some kind of shape After the leaves fell I repotted it into a shallower pot and waited till spring.
I was pleased when a few weeks ago little green buds sprouted and its looking ok for a six month trainee bonsai
Regards to all Brian
