Our garden - another detail

Post by Herb »

We don't have a teahouse & don't want to perform tea ceremonies, so we ditched the water basin idea and substituted the bird bath. We enjoy watching the birds (and squirrels) using it.

The plants in the middle are ordinary Crocosmias. I thought they might not survive because it's a very shaded spot, but they're thriving. The only difference the shade has made is that they flower a lot later than in full sun.

Yep! I could see myself pulling up a rock to sit and enjoy the sights there! Very nice! :D
