Tree trimming

Post by Herb »

The small shrubs next to our lawn need to be kept trimmed to shape otherwise they begin to look very untidy. It's easy to do this with an electric trimmer so I do it myself.

The Flowering Plum tree and the Holly trees are an entirely different matter. I'm not as agile as I used to be, and don't climb ladders any more, and the spines on Holly leaves are a menace, so once a year we hire a local Tree Service called Baker's Tree Service to attend to them. Here's how they looked today - before and after the trimming job. I like the way the newly-rounded Hollies and the small rounded shrubs match.
