Does anybody else think their Maples have very vivid colours this year?
I got much more colouration on my trees than I remember from previous years.
Not sure if because Autumn has generally been mild this year?
Even just driving round the Kent countryside at the weekend all the leaves on the trees sem to have more colour.

Not over here
This is probably the worst year I have had for autumn colour
A possible exception is Aconitifolium

Re: More vivid colours
Sam would you say you had a wet or dry Autumn over there?
We seem to have been dry and sunny here with maybe the odd heavy downpour now and again.

Wet and windy
No sooner did some colour appear on the trees than the leaves were either beaten off or blown off
