Hi George, unfortunately still crap. I've done most of the clean up, but real progress will have to wait until warmer weather.

Update George, i've been hit again.
First ice storm to hit our area since 1994.
Lots of broken trees to cut and clean up now.

And what point does one surrender ?

Mike, Sorry to hear that you have had some more bad weather. Ice can do devastating amounts of damage. I lost many limbs last year to old established trees, and have still not been able to get to all the broken limbs. Still, I say:
Never surrender!!! As long as you have an ounce of energy left, do what you can.
I know , though..it's very discouraging. Just take a step back, decide where you're going from here, and press on!

Don't wave that white flag, it is going to take you longer to sort it all out BUT at the end of the day it has got to be worth it especially as you love your garden so much, "YOU CAN DO IT" and you are only a young lad .Don't give in.

I've cut all the damage I could reach. Time will have to take care of the rest.
I'm trying to really get in to the idea of making a new start.
But i'll need a few more drinks.
