Dark Iris

Post by Annie »

Here is a dark Iris. It's kinda pretty. Not one of my favs, but I still like it. I like the bright ones better.
If I remember the name is something like After The Storm.

Oh a question.........
What is a Noid??? I don't know the correct terms for the iris plants  I think thats where I've read it, in the iris forums.

Is it Before The Storm? That is a nice black iis.

Noid stands for 'no ID' meaning it has lost its name over the years.

Wow Annie, you captured her will. I didn't know you walked on the wild side? I looked on my iris terms and didn't find Noid, so I hope someone else can help.

Also a little history on I. Before the Storm, a cross from Superstition X Raven's Roost. Innerst 1989 and has a slight fragrance, hailed as one of the darkest darks. We love her here and have close to 24 blooms, she is a show stopper!

I bet a ton of them all blooming would look pretty cool!
I have this one and another dark one. Can't remember the name on that one at all. I know I bought it but I never keep the dang tags :o
