How about this one? I bought it as I. forrestii, but pics on the Internet do not match up. I saw this iris in gardens in NZ, but no one knew the species.

Sorry I can't help ID them, but they are beautiful! Thanks for posting the photos

Viktoria, I am highly doubtful that I am correct, but the second picture looks a lot like my Iris spuria.

Garden-of-MU, where are you?!!

Thanks, Kellie. I Googled for I. spuria and some of them do indeed look like this one in form. I shall wait for more opinions.

The third picture looks like my Iris ochroleuca (sometimes it is also called Iris orientalis).

Thank you, Anja. I am satisfied that this is I. spuria v. ochroleuca.

Now how about the Siberian iris from Finland?

Viktoria,
I am sorry, I do not know your Siberian iris from Finland. But it really is a beauty.

What a beautiful siberian! I don't know who it is though. I think you have the spuria correct. It has i. orientalis as a synonym, and yes Kellie, that is the one I am growing of your grandmothers. Someday I'll have a huge drift of it along the drive. :)
