Cleaning up my Iris pictures, I found this PCN seedling with tiny holes and spots. What insect could be responsible? :bd:

Sneaky indeed! I suspect it is not insect damage but rain or hail. Just a guess though, but I've seen similar marking on mine when rain stays on the flowers for too long.
