This iris is listed by Mid-America Iris at Mid-Late bloomer. It bloomed before one SDB and several IB's. It has a fragrance to die for and gilt-rims really sets it apart. I highly recommend this one!

STOLEN SWEETS
2009, Paul Black

‘Stolen Sweets’ (Paul Black, R. 2009). Sdlg. M13BB . TB, 35”(89 cm), ML. Standards white infused medium yellow at base, narrow yellow-gilt rim; style arms white, medium yellow crests; falls white, narrow yellow-gilt rim wider at hafts, light greenish-yellow texture veins; beards orange in throat, yellow orange in middle, yellow at end; ruffled; pronounced sweet fragrance. ‘Fundamental’ X ‘Jersey Bounce’. Mid-America 2009.

Hybridizer's Comment:

Yes, you'll smell the Stolen Sweets of this very fragrant iris with a little whiff of citrus coupled with a little sweet talcum powder. It is a lovely fragrance. Satiny, heavily ruffled cold white flowers are decorated with narrow, bright yellow lacy edges and hafts. Bright neon orange beards draw you closer to enjoy the perfume. Growth is robust giving show stalks with 3-4 branches and 10-12 buds. Stolen Sweets is a real show stopper in clump.

Enjoy!
Billy
