First Irises Blooming!!

This past weekend we noticed the first irises blooming, photos to come!!

A lot of the tall bearded ones are starting to bud!! More photos to be added to PhotoBucket!!

Glad to hear that. OC didn't geet to move any of his his - So hope to plant some new ones in August. Do have the Lilies i planted in the fall up and starting to bloom. Not very tall this year, may have planted them too deep. (Had to get someone else to plant them,)

Oh coot, how sad you weren't able to bring your irises you loved. I know they were your joy. Planting new ones is a great idea. Scream if
you see any of ours you would like. We had the first bearded one open this weekend!! I'm so enjoying being out in the garden this time of
year. Frost on the roof tops this am but 80+ by tomorrow!!

Thank you Coot!! The third one is new this year, it's called I. Bay Rum and we are awaiting for the other new one to bloom. We are not seeing
many bloom this year due to last years hail damage. So we are enjoying those that are blooming!!

I. 'Chasing Rainbows' (Ben Hager, 1998) our other newest iris just opened. Every garden needs one of these!!

Beautiful! I have several that are starting to open. Need to get the camera out. No as pretty as yours though.
