Sweet Pepper "Cardinal Red" seed source?

Post by Pandora »

I found these seeds on Ebay one time and really liked the peppers. I can find the plants sometimes at Lowe's.
Lowe's said they usually only get in a flat or 2 because they are expensive seeds.
Does anyone know a seed source? I would like to start my own from seed.

Thanks,

I checked my wholesale cataloges, and did not find these available, sorry. :( Yes, the seeds are quite expensive for the reds. That is why I dont offer the seedlings along with my other veggie plants, and just save them for planting in the field for the produce. I can get more for them, selling the produce. Last year I tried one called 'Red Knight', but this year I am trying 'Fat n Sassy'

Thanks, Deb. I have grown 'Red Knight' for a couple years and it is OK. I did see 'Fat n Sassy' and was considering it.

Another favorite of mine is 'Red Beauty'. Mmmmm good.
