Hallson Gardens

I've been trying to get a good one of Emmitt. It should have occurred to me to get one of him at feeding time. He practically sits on my shoes waiting for his breakfast, lunch or dinner. He is smokey gray all over including his nose and ears, and that makes his green eyes so pretty.

He's another of our rescued urchins. He nearly starved to death. The vet says he has had a terrible time of it and I think that's why Em looks so sad most of the time. But I keep lovin' him up and trying to make him feel better. I think it's working because as soon as he fills his tummy he curls up in Dad's big, soft, comfy easy chair and falls asleep and I can hear him purring as he drifts to dreamland.

Minnow, I think the picture is just dark and it looks like he's winking. I've been trying for so long to get a picture of his face. He's very shy of the camera.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Poor Emmitt has been down a long road of recovery and we're hoping he'll recover fully someday.
