I was getting ready to go to work one day, and went to get my shoes.....Thanks goodness camera was close.....she was sleeping like this....but opened her eyes when I took the picture.....Silly girl.......

....those are new shoes.....had them only about 2 weeks....Plus, my feet don't smell....

Lucy, we had a sheltie that would lay with our shoes during the day while we were at work. He wouldn't chew on them, he would just go find a shoe or slipper and drag it to a spot and lay with it. He missed us so he did it as our scent was on it and he was lonesome and it made him feel better.

I guess with the upset with the kitty she is lonesome and needed a little extra security, so your shoe was it. *S*

My Bonnie used to hide my slippers and shoes.

Ended up buying myself a new pair and she happly chewed on my old slippers till there was nothing left of them.... they where doggy slippers too

Maybe she was jealous??

When pooper dog was young, about six months old, FOURTEEN YEARS ago, he used to taked things out into the yard. We left the back glass slide door open out onto the deck so he could go out, only thing he always carried something OUT with him. Never chewed it up, just took it out.. Guess he just wanted company.....
