Miracles really happen
GRACIE CAME HOME!!!!!
I opened up the back door to check and see that the outside door was locked and she was sitting on the steps meowing at me. I can barely believe I'm not dreaming. She is skin and bones, but she's home!! I'm just bawling like a baby and heading for bed, but I had to let you all know. Thanks so much for all you good thoughts and prayers.
Chewie is very ticked off. Too bad! [/b]

Happy, Happy day! Give her a hug from us too! Good to hear, love great endings!
I wonder if someone picked her up and it took this long to get home? Or if she was stuck in a shed somewhere or something. Poor baby!

I can't tell you how good it is to have her back. I don't know where she's been but someone has had the scissors at her. The fur around her ears and on her ruff has been trimmed back, and fairly decently too (she's prone to mats so maybe when someone found her she had some snarls that had to be cut off). Still gonna have to get her to the groomer to get the ones on her bloomers, belly and chest. She has settled right in and visits the food bowl every five minutes. Good thing, she has a lot of weight to replace. You can feel every bump on her spine and her hips bones too. Yep, gonna be treats for her for awhile.

Mike, that's FANTASTIC!! I'm so glad she's home and safe, even if a little haggard. You'll have her in ship-shape in no time. I'll bet she's just as happy to be home as you are to have her back!
It's funny, just the other day I was looking at your thread "Last Pics of Gracie" and feeling really sad . . . so what a surprise when I saw your post today!!
