The Mutt Strut....Maverick

Well all, the famous (lol) mutt strut is tonight...My Maverick has been brushed to the best....and he has been resting all day....so hopefully he will be in an okay mood tonight...wish us luck...and I will let you all know how he does tonight....if he wins best of show tonight, he will be in a parade on saturday...everyone cross your fingers...I am so nervous...gotta pack his bag for tonight...talk to you all later

Well all...we kept entering everything that we thought we could win....there was 2 categories left..."Best Humane Society Dog" and "Best of Show"...so we entered the best of humane society...the judge asked me mavericks story...and finished around the ring...and they were discussing it (where I couldn't hear)....and then they announce number 23 Maverick....YIPPY!!!!!!! so we went and collected our ribbon and was told that maverick would be in the parade on saturday...of course while they were talking to me the judging for best of show was going on...so we did not got to enter in best of show...but the winner of that one had already one 2 or 3 categories...gorgeous saint bernard/rottweiller mix....so we are going to be in the parade on saturday, right next to the best of show dog...Maverick will also be in the local newspaper on monday.... here are a few pics from tonight....hope you enjoy...we had a great time...

P.S. the first picture is of maverick and me after he won best humane society dog....the 2nd is of maverick, my girls Mackenzie (the blonde) and Mikey (brown hair), and myself...the 3rd is maverick and myself just lounging in between categories...
P.S.S I just have to crab for a minute...someone's cute little dog went poo-poo in the ring, and they did not pick it up...so guess who had to...yep, me....she should have picked up her own dogs poo....how rude....
