Hugo and Alex

Post by patsue53 »

Today was a rare day that my 17yo son had no plans so before his friends had a chance to come by or call I threw together a picnic and got him to take a day trip with me. We ended up at Lake Argyle State Park near Macomb, IL. It was cloudy and we had some sprinkles but that was okay!
We took Hugo for a walk on one of the trails and this is one of the pictures I took of the two of them.

What a handsome pair!

You've got to grab evey minute you can with those teenage kids. Glad the day worked out for you two. Thanks for sharing!

Before criticizing someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them you will be a mile away and have their shoes!

Nice pic, Pat. Two handsome fellas , for sure. :) And I agree.....grab every possible minute you can with your son. Mine usually doesn't spend a whole lot of time with his Mommy (he calls me mommy when he wants something , because he knows it tugs at my heartstrings. ...otherwise it's Mom). But when we do go somewhere together (On purpose) I always treasure the time with him, especially when he's talkative. He's the only one in the family who will discuss politics and such with me.

What a fun day you planned Pat! Great pic, I can hardly believe how much your son has grown since I last saw him! That was probably a year ago at Jimmy Macs? :-? I agree with the other's, very handsome, as is Hugo! ;)

What a great pic, Pat, and I'm so glad that you had a chance to spend some quality time with your two guys.
They do grow up fast, don't they?
My son had his dog in his highschool yearbook picture too, OED.
