I just got word that Kellie lost her wonderful Dante this afternoon to cancer. I was there visiting in early September when they got the diagnosis. I'm very honored to say that I got to go on a wonderful hike to Cape Falcon with Kellie and Dante last month, and I'll always cherish that memory
If only more people were as kind and gentle as Kellie's dog Dante was, the world would be a much, much better place.
We'll miss you so much Dante!!!

Kellie and Dante walking at Short Sand Beach in Oregon
On a trip to Short Sand Beach on the Oregon coast in February.
My girls with Dante this past February at Kellie's house.
Sorry for your loss Kelly. I remember a number of pics posted of Dante. My oldest DD had a wonderful Rotty. FANTASTIC dogs in the right home. Sounds like Dante couldn't have had a better one.
Thanks Andi!
My sympathies to you also, Kellie, for the loss of your beloved Dante. He was obviously the best of companions to you and possessed a sweet and loving nature. ((((Kellie)))))
What is so hard is that I keep seeing him out of the corner of my eye, or having the normal routine of loving him up and saying goofy things not be there any more. This is the first time in about 27 years that we have had no animals and we are going through Empty Nest Syndrome big time!!
Dante was such a big sweetie and always happy to greet us when the few times we came to visit, and Daniel and I are both saddened to hear of his passing. I know he'll always be with you in your heart. ((hugs))
