I dont have a pic to go with it yet,
But my Rhodesian Ridgeback, Fable, went to Texas
for 2 weekends of dog shows. She was shown by
her breeder, and also another friend of mine.
Last weekend, she won Winners Bitch on Friday,
and Winners Bitch and Best of Winners on Saturday.
These were wins over about a dozen other females,
and the Best of Winners, was a win over the winners
of the other classes, both sexes. (2 pts both days)
Today, there was a Regional Specialty Show, thats a show
just for one breed. Today, she once again took
Winners Bitch and Best of Winners,
a win over 17 other bitches, which finishes up the
points she needed to become a champion! :D (3 pts)
Its a bit more prestigious of a win than at an all breed show.
This is her 2nd Specialty win, first one was in Calif.
over an entry of 54 other bitches.
Wish I could have been there, but someone has to
work to pay for her glory!

So, CH Vyrtuous Summer Music JC :D comes home
Sunday night, in full blown season.
As soon as thats over, we start serious on obedience,
hope to get her in the obedience ring next summer.

Fantastic!

Many congrats. It is always impressive when a dog does so well at a specialty! And good luck in the obed ring. I'm sure she will shine there too.

Congrats Jim! What an honor for you and what a great tribute Fable is making to her breed. Just because I have to make fun... Give Fable a big kiss from one "bitch" to another
