A couple of cats

Post by Garden_of_Mu »

I notice there has been a severe lack of cat pictures around here lately. This situation must be remedied, so here's a couple new ones of Tuck and Petey. Maybe the girls will pose for me this weekend and I can post them as well. Got a new shot of your favorite feline?

Petey is just over a year old now and a very large and solid kitty. He is going to be a big boy - perhaps as big as Tuck, who has hit 18 pounds now. Petey's coat has changed quite a bit in color tone, as apparantly is typical for Siamese. His mask, where once it was well defined, bleeds onto his face with the prettiest striping. Faint tone-on-tone rings have appeared in his tail as well. I can see both tabby and tiger markings hiding in that Siamese coloring.

Tuck is as big, fluffy and wonderful as ever. It's cold now so he is a lap cat again.

Cats and dogs....living together. I haven't seen very many ostrich here lately either. Your kitty photos are lovely. They look very soft to touch. I do love kitties and cats. Actually they don't make an animal I don't like. I mean spiders and snakes are at the end of my list. I should say that there isn't a "pet" I don't like. Later, Love, Lisa

Here's Chewie Lou attempting to use her fluffy belly as bait to get someone to come pet her. She knows it cannot be resisted.

Much to Nacho's dismay... we have adopted a new kitty.
Meet Pixel, she is about 9 weeks old and a litte ham.. don't know that I have ever met such a playful kitty. Nacho has always kept us in stiches because he does some plan ol dumb stuff... but Pixel is the smart player.. never a wasted step to her.. I don't know what she thinks shes chasing with the flashlight.. but I bet she catches it one day!

Isn't it funny how somthing as simple as a name can make one smile.
I didn't know what I was going to name her but wanted something a little unusual... and a calico kitty has always reminded me of an artist splattering paint.. in large chunks of course... and of course in this day it's all about computer art... so-in lies my "pixel"
She is a sweety.. and my favorite part... she likes me! She follows me like a little puppy... Nacho just sits and glares at us... he's so jealous... I of course have to make time for him... I chase Pixel out to the laundry room and Nacho and I have a litlle TV time.

When Chewie does that "Oh, pleeeeeeease pet my tummy!!!!" thing, it truly is irrisistable. She does that to me when I visit, and I'm a sucker every time LOL!.
