I think of things that I'm pretty sure my cat is thankfull:

When we scrath his chin and his ears.
When we stroke him or simply touch him.
When we pay atttention to him.
To have us as master.
To freshen up his litter.
To giving him fresh water.
To giving him food when he beggin to see the bottom of his bowl.
To let him go outside so he can eat grass.
When we brush him.
For the sun so he can lay down and can get warm.
He is thankful when a butterfly rush in the house so he can catch it.
When we buy celery and carott so he can rub up to them.
When we let a closet's door open so he can sleep in our clothes.
When we give him some yogourt left over.
When my master let dirty plates on the counter and they are meat.
When the dishwasher is in the dry mode so I can lay down and can get warm.
When my mother

give me nepeta.
To rub my nose on everything who have a corner.
To sleep above the head of my mother.
To have so much time to sleep.
To be an indoor cat so he don't have to be wet by the rain, freeze by the cold.

They aren't really thankful for anything by the way they act. More like..."I'm deserving of"......

My girls would have added:

For my furrdog to curl up on in winter

For REAL tuna!
For indoor litter on rainy days

For the warm spots humans leave behind in the chair

For the spring grass and catnip!
