My sister's dogs...

Post by doublemom2 »

I visited my sister over the holidays and got to meet her new puppy, Ella, an American Staffordshire terrier . She's TOO CUTE! And very calm and well behaved for a 4-month-old. My sis also has an older lab mix (who hates the new puppy, but they're working through it), and a 6-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier named Muggs. Muggs is amazing, he has completely taken Ella as his own and takes care of her, grooms her, teaches her how to play tug-of-war, lets her eat first, etc.

So, I just wanted to share some cute photos, we have cats here at home so I have to get my dog fix when I visit friends and family.

I always like the bull breeds. Very undeserving of the rep they've gotten.
Bet that Staffie Bull's bark is like a squeeking little squirrel. Never heard one that sounded like a real dog.

They all have HUGE barks, even little Ella. Muggs has a bark that sounds like it should be coming from a really big dog.

I just love Ella's wrinkles, she's still got a lot of growing to do to fill out all the wrinkles :)

Muggs looks like a boxer with a rounder head. Is there this type of dog in the boxer breed, or is there boxer in this breed? His coloring, chest and torso look just like my Temper, but different looking head. If he has Boxer in him that is why he loves the new dog.
