They are getting along better!!

After months of Willie growling and not sure if he liked "the kids" I think he has decided he does like them!

He grooms them all the time, mostly O'Shawnnessy. I have to try and get him to stop as he gets them so wet! He is still sitting on them a couple of times a day, but he is just trying to play like the two kids do. He just doesn't know that he outweighs them by a bunch. He was in the hospital for two nights two weeks ago for not eating and is down from 15.4lbs to 13lbs; but that still is way more than "the kids" weigh.

Tonight I walked into the living room and caught them all sleeping together with Willie's arm over O'Shawnnessy's neck/head like he didn't want him to go away.

The pic isn't that great as I didn't want them to move by turning on my flash.

LOL Gee Jane, I never thought of that. He could of been thinking how he could get rid of the bodies without me knowing about it. They do drive him crazy at times! But he just turnes them into slurpies by grooming them so much.

My two get along, but not well enough to clean one another unless it's a precursor to the bite that starts the tumble and chase. I think they tolerate one another. I'll have to find a pic of Lucy. Also need to post to ask about a recent health issue and advice, but that will come later.

O'shawnnessy was the one that got willie to groom them. OS just wouldn't give up on making friends with willie. No matter how many times he got swatted or hissed or growled at, OS would just keep going back to make friends...he is definately living up to his Irish name as he is very sttuborn.

Now OS tries to get away from willie when he has had enough grooming but Willie just puts an arm around him and pushes OS back down.
