Freeky Day!

I had a dream this morning where I came home and my door was open a crack. Walked in, everything was there... no dog. Looked everywhere, finally found him sleeping under a sheet in the living room (one room apartment by the way).

Came home from work today, unlocked the door....NO DOG!!! Looked around, nothing disturbed (including the sheet). Went into the bathroom and this is how I found him...

He's going to hate summer. I see my electric bill soaring with A/C going, I'll need a sweater in the house!

We had a siamese cat when I was growing up that always slept in the bathroom sink. Weird.

Right now the outdoor temp is 51, it's 71 indoors. I keep it at 80 in the summer. I'll need to put ice packs down for him I think. He likes to stay by the front door too, there is a heavy draft from the door.

My husband's grandmother lived in Tyler, TX and always kept cats. She did not have air conditioning and the porcelain tub was the coolest spot in the whole house. All the cats slept in the tub and one of them liked to sleep with its' head over the drain. When it purred, the hollow pipe magnified the sound and it sounded like a lion. Your dog doesn't snore does it?

:D :D :D
That's a good one! He must have walked around looking for the coolest spot.
I can imagine that you would be freaked out if, after having that weird dream, you came in
and couldn't find the dog. It's not like he could hide too many places!!!
My little dachshund is probably tired of waiting for it to be warmer. We keep the thermostat at
65 or so in the winter, to try to keep the cost down, and the poor little dog is always crawling under
the blankets or onto my lap to try to get warm. I tried a little doggie sweater, but he takes
it off right away.
