This is the club I used to belong to. Watch the video to get an explanation of the training methods we used. All Operant Conditioning with marker training (clicker training) and NO physical corrections. http://www.rwdc.org/
Click on 'Past Dogs' and then Thunder. All his titles, including Search and Rescue, cadaver training, boat work, article search have been done with NO physical corrections. Also lots of pics of him in the trial section before 2008.
He's also earned his AKC HT (herding Tested) since I've left the club. He's from Czech working lines and is a natural at gathering sheep to me. His mom was imported from the Czech Republic and Thunder was in her belly at the time.

The training I do is all about the dog enjoying it as much as me. The video shows it can be done. No need for the classic yank and crank for a high level dog. I had left the club by the time they did the video so that's the reason there is nothing there on my two dogs.
Still working on the other post.
The wife said I have a photobucket full of pictures.
Trouble is I haven't been in it for a couple of years and can't get into it now. I also can't get any response from them when I try and redo my pass word. Still working on it. Siiiiigh!
