Great job, Jane! Doesn't it feel great to finally finish a quilt? I just sit and look at mine for hours. How did you do your label? Did you just write directly on it, or did you print it on your computer?

Thanks everyone. Weird thing, I can't see the pics on here anymore :( Strange day I suppose :)

Kas, I used the Micron archival/acid free pens. THey were easy, but I wish now I'd bought the medium ones, rather than fine point. I had to go over them way more than I cared to take the time with! LOL

I (Thanks heavens) did the piece of fabric, then cut to fit and did the border, then hand stitched it on. Good thing, b/c I did make a mistake on the first one and had started from the longest line and ended with the first? When I writing the 2006 on the top line it was 'dejevu! I knew I'd put Born: Oct 17th, 2006~ UGH!!!!!! So, had to do it over. Better than having done it directly on the quilt! LOL

Beautiful quilt, I like Eyeore
I am making a few, quilts and receiving blankets for new grandaughter, just born and another on the way in a few days. My first one I made this year was winnie the pooh, but I did not take a picture. This one came out nice and I liked the bright primary colors.

Do you watch the quilting show in the morning at 8:30?
They are starting a quilting class near me, I am just thinking about it.

Beautiful quilts! I always think 'someday' but I just can't imagine actually doing it. Especially since I can't work a sewing machine to save my life and do all my sewing by hand. :)

You could do it you wanted to Mike. Seriously. I didn't start quilting till last Feb/05. I love it! It's a great winter hobby :)

That quilt with the jars is one of the most imaginative and wonderful I have ever seen! I am a sucker for whimsical things. I just made Daniel come in and see it and told him he has to make me one. Awesome design! :)
