Here is the 45th Ann. quilt

Post by Kas »

And here is the 45th Anniversary quilt I made for Ray's folks. It was supposed to be finished last year, but that didn't happen! When they were here for their visit I was sneaking away to work on it and also staying up until 2 and 3am. I was a sleepy girl while they were here. But I finished it the night before they left. Whew! Talk about cutting it close. The reason I didn't just finish it later and mail it to them is I really wanted to see their faces. I wasn't disappointed, I am happy to say.

You've created a family heirloom that will be treasured for who knows how many years to come! It is absolutely beautiful!

What a wonderful gift. Glad you were able to complete it so you could enjoy their reaction to that special gift. :D

That is lovely, Kas. Your fabric choices are really great. It looks like they are very pleased with it.
