Hi Fran! Nice to see another machine embroider-er! I have a Brother machine, how about you?

I haven't done any digitizing myself. I'll go through my files and see what I can find. I recall finding hosta leaves in a set a while back, I'll have to try to remember where it was or which web site it was on.

Happy Stitching!!

Hi Jane, I also have a Brother. I use Embird to digitize, I am self taught so I always dread these projects, but once done I am usually thrilled.
Last Christmas, my DD draws Japanese anima so I digitized one of her girls and embroidered it onto a scarf... I didn't think she would really wear it, (shes a teen and it might not be cool), she wore it everyday last winter.. so that was a success... but of course it took me two weeks plus a hundred sew-outs to get it right.
So unless you happen to have a Hosta... I am going to have to do one...ugh!

Fingers crossed here you find it

Fran,
Sometimes I can't resist the challenge to use search engines on the InterNet for these questions. Sorry, I have not found a hosta yet, but I did find a great site that has some very nice patterns for free, for $1, $5, & $10. I have looked at almost every pattern in these groups.

Here is the site, in case, something else touches your fancy.

Oh, they DO have snails, but no hostas, wouldn't ya know. :)

Thanks Pandora, I use that site quite often, and ann the gran, she has a great site with lots of free patterns.
I pretty much have resigned myself to digitizing it.. I just haven't gotten started yet. I usually save all my sewing for cold weather. The sewing list has been pileing up all summer long... wonder where I will fit seedlings in...

If you're still looking for one, I found digitized patterns for hostas on these two sites: www.emblibrary.com and www.embroiderypatterns.com.
