Very nice lilies dirtpig. I'm afraid mine are about done for the season. Now if they just come back at least as good as this year I'll be satisfied. Oops , I just remember my Formosa lilies haven't flowered yet and it shouldn't be much longer for them to open. I think they're one of the latest to open and mine will be over four feet tall this year. I guess they like our cool wet weather this summer. Also I have a stray one near the cherry tree. I'm sure I never planted one there so maybe a seed blew over . I guess they can flower from seed the first year, as I'm sure it wasn't there last year, and I did scatter a few seeds maybe.
Mine aren't quite as fragrant as I'd expected , but it's a pleasant fruity smell to my nose. I'd also expected more of a spicey scent like the trumpets or orientals. They sure are pretty however.
My, what a small world!

I was reviewing all the Liliums of last year you posted. Man you have some beauties. I particularly like the Black Beauty and the Starfighter, but that Orange Tiger had to be my favorite.
I have all three of these planted this year and sure am ready to see some of them in bloom     ..
