No fragrance?

My oriental lilies are blooming now, but they have little or no fragrance. Years past they've perfumed the whole garden. Anyone else experienced this?

I keep telling my wife that this has been a strange year for gardening. She just says, "That's what you say every year."

I actually have noticed that some fragrant plants seem to be less fragrant this year - notably my mock orange shrub.

Thanks for verifying my sanity, Snow. The heat seems to have squeezed out a bit more smell. But I still think it's been a strange year for gardening....
