Group shot Sphinx

Post by oldcoot »

Sphinx Lilium . Planted April 1. Another WInner Chris. This one has rain drops on it and shows the faint yellow in the center. Looks an awful lot like Black Jack, just not as shiny. A pretty Lilium. Enjoy OC

Two more Lilums in bloom today

Post by oldcoot »

The group shot is the Lilium Yelloween and was bought from Chris this spring. Nice bloomer, strong stems . Needed water when this was taken, but we got some last night and this morning. Haven't been out yet today, but looks like OC has several new ones that have bloomed in the rain.

The single in an unknown Asiatic that has rebloomed from some previous time. OC

I do hope to be able to order some from Chris. But My plant allowence is very small. I splurged on Scheherazade and a small bag of mixed bulbs from a catalog and a bag of Stargazer from box store. We are GP raising granddaughters who are 6 & 8. But I still have too choose!!!!
I am learning soooo much on the forums here!!!!!
